Mr. Gronbacher retired in 2000 as EVP of PNC Financial and CEO of PNC Retail Bank with over 1,000 branches in six states, Credit Card Company, Insurance Company, and PNC National Bank.

Prior to PNC he was EVP of operations and CIO for Citizens Fidelity Bank, Louisville Kentucky.

As a principle in Centrex Corp., he was responsible for the design and implementation of on-line banking software and consulting. Centrex was sold to Bradford computing.
